I was was learning to make a collage in 3D.I found this hard because I didn't know what picture to put in.I wasn't really aming to make the picture look real,I just put a bunch of flower picture in.My next step is to make it look real.

I was learning how to write a fractured fairy.
I found it hard because we had to change the story and make it sound different.  My favourite thing was combining the tales together. My next step to do more work on fairy tales.

Te Tuhi Art

I was learning how to make a collage.  I found it hard to paint with the water paint because i would put to much water  and the paint will go every were. my favorite thing was tracing around the picture. what you did was you find the picture that you want and get your carving paper and put it on your piece of paper  you get the picture you chose and a pencil and then trace around the picture.  I really liked this type of art work because you could use different type of art things you don't only have to use paper and paint you can use heaps of other things like newspaper,fluff and much more things.  I'm looking ford to go back to Te-tuhi and do more crafty stuff.

My Character Description

We were learning to write a character description.I found it hard to describe the grandpa.My next step is to write more character descriptions.

Term 4 wk 2

Last week on Friday we started something called fantastic Friday.
   what you do is you get some choices like sewing+knitting,vintage games,science,sports around the world and ukulele.
I got in sewing and knitting.
 But she let some of us change because they  didn't think it will just be sewing and knitting they thought it will be different types of craft stuff.I got changed to vintage games but i couldn't find the class I was supposed to be in.  but luckily i found the class just in time  when i walked in they were just teaching  us how to play this how you play if you don't know you need to  have a packet off knuckle bones but if you don't you can use rocks pretty much you can use any thing small.first you have to put all of the knuckle bones on the palm of your hand and throw it up in the air and flip tour hand but you have to keep your hand straight  and not throw it to high if you do it will heart because it will bang on your hand next once you have done that you spread all of them on the floor and pick one up then you throw it up and try pick on up every time if you miss its the other persons turn. After you kind of do the same thing but instead you pick up two.a  on after  that you do the same thing again but you pick up three. then you have to pick all four and that is it. The hard thing was that we had to play it with the fake jelly beans and they were a bit slippery so I kept on dropping it.We got to play until the bell rang then we went to class.

Term 2 Week 8

last week we took the van to go to te-tuhi.  We were to nosie so the driver put talking tom on his phone.
when we got there we were waiting for the rest of the class when they got there Jerime came through the door he told us to go to the art room when we got to  the art room there were bottles and garden plants every were for us to make.  We were making a vertical garden  we needed a bottle a maker to make it pretty our
 bottle.Once we made our bottle pretty we put stones soil and our plant in I chose beans.  When every body was finish we had a look at some art work and videos and tried to think what they used for the video.once we came back to school we eat some lunch.

I found this peace of work easy because I new if its under 4 it goes down if its 5 or over it goes
up. My next step is to use bigger numbers.

I have been learning to use different strategies to solve addition problems.  I found this easy because I used my place value knowledge and my basic facts knowledge to help me solve these problems.  My next step is to learn how to use making tens and doubles to help me solve addition problems.

Term 1 Week 7

This week we started something called 100 word challenge in this challenge  you have to write 100 words and Mrs Melville  will give you a picture and you glue the picture in and you write whats going on in your own words.
                                       

African praise poem

I have been learning how to write an African praise poem. I found it tricky

to think of an  animal. My friends helped me think of animal. I liked this piece of work because I've never done this type of work before my next step is to stay on task more.

tearm 1 week 4

Last week we went to do sports with youth town. We played capture the flag.  I was in no bibs team. And obiviously no bibs won we won every singel round.
